Mr. Robert Stoddard has been an educator for the past 35 years and has fulfilled many roles such as a bus driver, custodian, teacher, principal and a superintendent.  The past two years Valley View Elementary School has been fortunate enough to have him working and supporting our students as a SPED parapro.  Mr. Stoddard has been a great addition to our wonderful team and is someone that is caring, joyful, and giving of his time.

Mr. Stoddard commented that you loves his position and the people that he gets to work with every day.  The favorite part of his day is when he gets to teach math and be around students.

His colleagues stated that Mr. Stoddard is “wonderful with the students, dependable, is always asking how he can be a help to others, and builds great relationships with students and staff.”  Another staff member commented that Mr. Stoddard is amazing with my students and it is a joy to watch him teach math.

The students he works with stated, “he is funny, really smart, and he makes learning enjoyable.”  Another student said, “I like his stories and how he challenges me to learn new things.”

Mr. Stoddard lives in Bonners Ferry with his wife Jodi.  On his free time he enjoys cutting firewood and working with his horses.  His goal this year is to come to school rested every day.

BCSD #101 is very lucky to have Mr. Stoddard within our district educating and supporting our students.
