JUNIORS: Please get your pink fine slips turned into Mrs. Mackey! She would like to complete YOUR schedule! Also, Next year seniors-Gear up is now a year long class. If you are interested in taking the second semester to work on scholarships and more, please come back to see Mrs. Mackey again so she can alter your schedule.

Get baseball uniforms returned before Thursday June 1, 2017

High School girls basketball meeting Wed. 5/31 in the health room at BCMS at 4:20. Summer Basketball will be discussed.

Track awards banquet 5/31 at 6pm at Teresa Rae's house. It will be a BBQ potluck. Boys bring a side dish, girls bring a dessert.

NHS Members: Community Breakfast is on April 22nd and Second Harvest is on April 28th. See Mrs. Cravens to sign up-this is a great way to get in your community service hours.

2017 Prom Royalty  Girls: Sammy Branson, Mikalynn Embry, Savannah Jordan, Brooke Wallace  Boys  Kevin Gray, Tim Kersteins, Nic Sabin. Voting will be don the night of Prom at the door.

BFHS Film Club is excited to announce the first annual Film Festival Competition. If you've ever wanted to make movies, now is your chance. Form a group of 3 to 6 BFHS students and sign up in any English Classroom. You'll be assigned a genre, a line of dialogue, and 2 objects to include in your film, them have three weeks to make a 10-15 minute film. The group with the best movie as voted by the audience, will win a prize.

JUNIORS interested in visiting LCSC-there will be a charter bus on April 28th. Seniors planning to attend LCSC are also welcome. Permission slips in the office.

SENIORS: Mrs. Mackey will be available to help you with scholarships during flex from now until the end of May. I am willing to help you with writing, editing and ideas. April is a big month for our local scholarships and we want to provide the committees with lots of options.

The Annual Talent Show has been scheduled for May 11th. If you would like to participate, the auditions will be April 25 and April 27 during FLEX Time. If that is a problem, please talk to Mrs. Carpenter. We are looking for fun and unusual talent. This year there will be a lip sync competition. We encourage you to work in groups and have a fun time. Each segment will be 30 seconds. Please have your accompaniment track cut prior to the audition

The following criteria will be used:

  1. Appropriateness of talent
  2. You need to be prepared!  This means:

                     1. You have your talent memorized

                     2. You have accompaniment tracks cut and bring to the audition

                     3. Bring a copy of lyrics if you are singing or competing in the lip sync portion

                     4. You know what you are going to wear

                     5. Bring any props

Senior T-Shirt Design contest: submit your senior class t-shirt before March 24th to Lori Sabin. Any 9x12 sketch book paper

will do. On the 24th, your senior project day, each design will be displayed for a class vote. The winning design will be chosen for this year shirt for you all night party. Winner receives a $100 Subway Gift Card.Monger Scholarship due March 30th
